guess i haven’t been updating my blog site that much huh?! have been feeling quite troubled these few days, and i wasn’t really in the mood to blog about the nanjing adventures i had last weekend, or my very irritating housemates who are forever bickering with each other. anyway, this morning, i have told lien (HR GM) my interest in staying on in shanghai on a more permanent basis. it’s something i have been thinking very hard about in the past week. the two guys have already stated their interest in staying, and during a meeting with him on tuesday, he asked me to consider carefully. thought hard about it. it’ll be good training, both personally and professionally. it’s a great opportunity to train myself up to be independent. chung eng just spoke to me, and she said lien mentioned to her about putting me in the finance department. since i am not accounting trained, she wanted to know if i was keen in helping her set up control systems, so that the locals can improve on their efficiency. it wouldn’t be on a permanent basis, i may get to rotate around in different departments. so… anyway, i’ll be back in singapore in early july to consider my options. hmm... i should... should i?
