another intern joined us today, her name is gwen. she’s also under the workasia programme as well, but because she’s studying in uk, her school term ended later than ours. so she’s joining us only now. we had lunch with her. a nice girl. *wooooeei!* she’s from rjc leh! she speaks perfect brit english! haha, has been a long long time since i spoke to anyone who will reply in good english. in singapore, i speak mandarin and singlish. and here in shanghai, the singaporean friends i have are a casual bunch. we do speak english, but not with that kind of perfect diction. so there! one more friend! haha, great to finally meet gwen before i fly back this weekend! the whole group of us lunch together, but for dinner chingling has got to go back to cook for her fiancé, and ying soon and chung eng work til way past dinner time. that leaves me to face my two housemates who are forever bickering. they really get on my nerves man! maybe gwen can have dinner with us, then the 2 guys will be better behaved… I hope… *wink*
