autumn in shanghai

girl experience life.

I'm supposed to be in Shanghai now. And hehe... I'm still here! *yay* Some changes have been made to the original plan, and I will be leaving only on 2nd Sep. This is good news for me, because 1. I get to bump around for another month or so. 2. My mum's elated! =) 3. It'll be almost autumn in Shanghai, so I'll miss the sweltering summer heat. (Yes, I do prefer Singapore's sun... at least I can go swimming) 4. I have more time to eat all my fav foods. But the bad news is, of course, I'll be hanging around for another month or so. Contract starts late means contract ends late. And judging from responses from this person and a whole bunch of other people when I told them the news, I realised the farewell lunches and dinners were, in actual fact, celebrations of good riddance. *boohoohoo!* **boohoo...!* *hiccups...* Thanks everyone. I truly know how well-(dis)liked I am now. I am waiting for July to go and August to come. I had thought I was going to be in Shanghai by August, so I made full use of all my July Singnet hours and Singtel call time and sms. Now that I have exceeded the Singnet hours, I can't really blog unless I'm lucky enough to dial up the forever engaged NTU lines. The new M1 hp line is god-send, but still, I have been smsing like nobody's business. Someone might like to help call for an ambulance just before I open my bills. I'll faint... I'll faint. (Oh, but anyone knows if Singtel discharges liabilities for anyone who dies from heart attacks? Maybe I can feign an attack.) Money's drying up, and a month is too short and precious to waste on any waitressing jobs. I'd better scrimp more. No more mad karaoke-ing or expensive restaurant meals. Or even coffeebean outings. Sigh! I guess I shall just stick to what I have been doing for the past few days. Swim. (I'm a real blackie now) Sleep. Read. Listen to the radio and mp3s. Play mahjong with Jacky Wu and Carol Cheng. Watch TV and vcds. Hey, I do feel like a tai-tai! *grin*
